The way that I've seen this done is that you really get your cardstock wet. Ink your stamp up and stamp on the wet cardstock. Repeat at least one time. Then air dry or use your heat gun to dry the cardstock. When cardstock is completely dry, then stamp the image again. So you have a really nice stamped image on top of all the blurred lines, so it looks like you've painted. The results are gorgeous!
I love impressionist art, I love flowers, I love Penny Black, I love watercolors, I love stamping, I love Kaleidacolors/Spectrums, I'm just flat out in love. Printing up all this stuff is running me out of ink, but gotta have it in my notebook of neato stuff. Kathy
OMGosh! Those cards are awesome. Yet another technique I've fallen in love with. I will never be stumped for how to make a card again. I love this site!!!
Is this technique done on regular CS or on glossy CS?
Thanks!
IMO, best results are with SU's shimmer white CS

I haven't gotten any of the shimmer white yet. I'm going to have to order some at our next group meeting. I want to try this along with all the Sketch challenges, the prismacolor pencils, etc. etc.

Anyone know if the SU! Markers work for this method? Have to try it out and see but thought someone would know.
Yes! We made some pretty tags at my workshop on Saturday. Used shimmery white, and inked up More Petal Prints with markers. Just gorgeous, if I do say so myself!
