Absolutely! And it's cool and fun too! I've used versamark and whatever embossing powder as well as colored pigment inks and clear ep and UTEE (ultra thick embossing enamel). The process is just like with the cardstock- stamp, apply powder and heat. The results are beautiful. You can lightly sand for a worn look, or go over the wood with an acrylic paint thinned a bit with water... your imagination is the only limit! I've done lots of little wooden things and picture frames and loved how they turned out. PM me if you have more questions. Have fun!!

I can't thank you guys enough. I was totally afraid of embossing my photo frames for fear I would ruin the wood. But thanks to a quick search and some older posts you saved my sanity and let out the creativity.

TFS the info.

THANKS!! I was wondering about that. I wanted to do something with a wooden box so I can keep my vitamins on my kitchen counter. I'm really bad about taking them and if I don't see them, I don't take them. Any excuse I hate pills - lol and some of them are huge. Choke Choke. But, I have to take a bunch of them so this will hide them, keep me aware that I have to take them.
