Default Embossing with Sand???

Has anyone ever tried to emboss using Sand? If yes, can you please share how you did it. I tried using versamark, but it didn't work out for me. Thanks in advance~Erin

Sand, as in beach sand? I can't imagine how that would work. Embossing powder is basically ground up plastic. The heat melts the plastic bits together. If you want to apply sand to paper, you'd need a glue.

Are you maybe talking about an embossing powder that has a finish that resembles sand? Sorry, I can't quite figure out what you need...

<THWACK!> <Slaps forehead> OK, that makes so much more sense now, lol. I was thinking you wanted sand to act just like embossing powder and melt, and I just couldn't picture it. You meant you wanted it to stick! Duh...
