Default Diorama Card

Could someone please tell me how to adapt this card to a 5 1/2 x 11 sheet of cardstock vs. 5 1/2 x12? I've been racking my brain trying to figure it out! I even did a couple of samples and I can't get it to turn out! grrr!
Here's the youtube tutorial:

Looking at the maths in it, if you use an 11" sheet of card, you're going be scoring on thirds of an inch and two-thirds, which most scoreboards that I've seen don't cover. I'd say it would be much easier to trim an inch off and use the 5 1/2 by 10 measurement in the tutorial Vic linked to.

I figured out it wasn't an easy adaption! I went ahead and cut a 1" piece that was 5 1/2" long and taped it on the inside portion, put a die cut border on the outside seam and glued a thin strip of card stock on the inside to hide the tape and seam. Much easier! Thanks gals!
