I have been searching all day for a purse I've seen on here a while ago. It looks like a real purse and has a wide strip of paper across the sides, handles on the front and back, and buckles on the handle straps. I don't know if anyone knows what I'm talking about, but if anyone has a template, can you please post it? I want to make a present for my daughter's teacher and thought that this would be a cute idea.
Fan club is a part of this site that requires a small membership fee. I haven't made that leap yet...:( but I want to...These ladies are so talented and every month put out quite a display, I guess. But only as a thank-you to those who purchase a membership to the fan club to support this great site.
The poster indicated she made the purses from the SU! pre-diecut purse boxes and added the handles, straps, and embellishments. FYI, there wasn't a template for this in the Fan Club that I could find. HTH!

Is there any way anyone can either e-mail me ( [email protected] ) or pm me with a copy of the template? I don't have access to that forum. I appreciate you all helping! TIA

It is my understanding of the Terms of Use for the Fan Club, that this is not allowed...if I'm wrong, someone please correct me. Having access to the templates is one of the many benefits of being a member. It really is worth the fee to join!
Is there anyway a nonmemeber could get the template or instructions? [email protected]
Thanks
sorry girls - it's part of the TOS - you must be a supporter of the Fan Club to have access to the Fan Club Templates
The $25 FC fee is well worth it - you don't have to wait for your gallery items to be approved - you get to see all the awesome samples by the dirty dozen each month. Best of all - the fee helps support this site and keep it running!
Thank you so much for your interest in Leigh's Totally Totebags.
Several points I wanted to touch upon:
As a Dirty Dozen Designer, Leigh designed this project and donated the template exclusively to the SCS Fan Club Gallery/Forum.
For anyone to re-distribute her template without her permission, via any means mechanical or electronic/digital would be a violation of the author's copyright and copyright law. SCS strongly supports copyright law, and does not condone its violation, for the protection of all artists.
SCS is currently funded by two things: advertising revenue, and voluntary donations of annual support by members. The SCS Fan Club Galleries/Forums were designed to be a thank-you gift expressly for those who do support the site.
In essence, re-distribution of any of the artwork or templates/diagrams via any means results in the undermining of all the hard work and effort by the Dirty Dozen Designers, like Leigh, who volunteer/have volunteered their design services to help keep SCS up and running.
Why? Well, there actually is a good reason. ;)
SCS provides the following services to all that dwell here (125,000 members and growing), free of charge:
Community forums for exchanging stamping/paper crafting information
Galleries, containing thousands upon thousands of ideas
Member Galleries, where anyone can create their own gallery for archiving and sharing their stamped art works as they wish, and without limitations on # of images uploaded, etc.
Project & Technique Tutorials, complete with photographs and step-by-step instructions
A weekly newsletter that highlights the latest tutorial, and assists subscribers in finding wonderful tidbits on SCS that they might have missed
But, many are unaware that offering this all for free to users, actually comes with a very hefty price tag in terms of servers, bandwidth, technical, graphical, and administrative costs.
Voluntary Annual Donations are crucial in helping offset those costs.
For anyone who loves SCS, all the services it provides, and would like to support the site, please click HERE, for more information. As Lisa has mentioned, Fan Club Membership does have its priveleges!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your support!
