Default Clear resist pad..

I bought a clear resist pad yesterday at a flea market, the lady told me that I could use glitter with it. So....as you probably know it didn't work. I know it works with embossing powder, and heat gun. Is there is other way I can use it?
Also...is there a light glue I can use with stamps, than put glitter on it?
Thanks.

I'm not sure about clear resist pads...I think they're just embossing ink in disguise. As far as glue goes...here's a video that might help.

Stampin' Up! sells a product called Heat & Stick Powder. You can add that to a resist-stamped image, heat and then add glitter. It must then be heated again to set.

Usually when I want to add glitter to an image, I do it after stamping and use a two-way glue pen with a fine tip or the Tombow Mono Multi (white/green bottle).

It sounds to me as if you're talking about something like Versamark?
In that case, you don't necessarily have to use embossing powder with it; there are also other ways of using it.
You can just stamp using it for backgrounds, to give a watermark effect.
You can stamp and dust it with chalk pastels - see Poppin' Pastels in the Resources section - Splitcoaststampers - Poppin’ Pastels Technique Tutorial by Beate Johns
And this ghosting technique gives a fabulous effect - Splitcoaststampers - Ghosting Technique Tutorial by Beate Johns. It's important to use glossy card for this one.

If it is a Versamark-type pad, you can also use it with Pearl Ex.
