Default Clear glass ornament w/hanging picture?

I want to make some photo ornaments for our church families this year. I was thinking of using a picture of each of my kids and mounting them back-to-back. In theory, I thought they might spin so each of them could be seen equally.

Any thoughts if that will really work?

I was thinking of suspending the circle-cut pictures (cut at least 1/4" smaller than my ornament) on clear thread hung from the ornament cap.

... Or should I just use a picture of both of them together and make it stay in place?

Thanks for any input!

I did a class for this a couple years ago. I used pictures and cut the picture in a circle with the coluzzle. I also cut a circle out of acetate (transparencies) but left a tab on the top so it would keep the pictures upright inside the glass ball. Adhere your picture to each side of this acetate. Roll on a small dowel rod to place inside the ball, and CAREFULLY use long tweezers to unroll and "flatten" out the pictures. Trim the tab if needed.

I hope this helps!

Thanks for the link and information! I'm assuming that one doesn't spin, right? Maybe I should just use a picture of the two of them together. It would probably be a lot easier!
