I've heard the idea thrown around about Capsule cardmaking - I believe Kristina Werner did something on that at one point even.
That said, as time seems to be of high value these days (I am really struggling to be able to make time in my schedule to make any cards; not for lack of desire but for too many more important things that need to be done)... I'm thinking more and more about this recently.
If you made yourself a cardmaking capsule of limited supplies to pick from and use to make the cards you need to, what would it include?
Feel free to share a general list, or specific items themselves you would have.
I'll start with where I might start with one, if I decided to try it - and I'd be really restrictive to make it easier to take action when I did find 10 minutes to work on something:
1-2 (maybe 3) stamp sets with an assortment sentiments and images
Stamp platform
Black ink that can be used for multiple mediums
Alcohol Markers
Stampin' Write Markers
Distress Ink cubes
Heat embossing gun & powders (I don't have many; the whole "kit" fits in a shoe box so I'd include the works - also has the embossing ink in there)
Neenah Solar White
I wouldn't go so far as to restrict papers, etc - that stash is right behind my desk and one color is as easy to nab as the other.

I have heard of this before-usually if you were on a desert island....I never have been able to do it. But I will try again. I keep seeing stuff in other people's and switching out in mine LOL
And...this is not forever right? Cuz if it is, forget it. Not happening LOL
I want to say my big shot but that would require dies and EFs...
We are allowed basic hand tools/supplies right? I don't have to list scissors? Because then I get my double headed stylus and I could hand emboss. And my 6 inch t-ruler and stamp cleaner and adhesives.
Since I cant cut straight anymore, I have to have the small guillotine and the standard MISTI
Heat gun and the basic powders-gold silver white and clear although on the island I wont have electric but I might with a capsule/travel pack
Few brushes and a small WC paint set
Black multi ink, red, blue and yellow blendable inks with reinkers because then I can blend them.
A few basic outline stamp sets-a nice multi floral, A good multi sent set, and I have to think about the other two
Several stencils...probably a basic stripe I can shift/turn for more stripe types, damask, dots...more thinking and a few pastes. Esp white I can color with my reinkers.
Masking paper or large post its
Stickles-gold, silver, glittery white, black and a clear drop.
Since I have glue and DC tape in my allowed basics, probably some basic glitter colors.
If I had to keep it to a knapsack...I could pack a LOT more...LOL
I guess that is about it...but no doubt will see stuff in other people's list! lol

I am not creating much right now. I am on the main level of my house and my craft room is upstairs. So, my daughter put a tote bag with supplies in it. She put Black Memento ink as I have a set of Ohuhu markers to color images with. She brought a zip bag with birthday themed sets and matching dies. If I really want to die cut, she will bring down a very small machine.
I remember watching Kristina Werner when she was working through this before her Hawaiian vacation. I liked that she narrowed down her theme, colors to use, inks, and had it all ready to use. I like the idea of user fewer supplies and making it work.
I create 20 duplicate clean and simple cards at a time for various causes. More than 20 of an image makes me want to pull my hair out. I started a new set this afternoon with the following supplies, which is what I generally use. On average it takes me three days to complete a set of cards.
Stamp positioner
One stamp (image size can vary)
Four sentiment stamps
One black inkpad for image and sentiments
One background stencil
One color inkpad for the stencil
20 card fronts that are marker friendly (color pencil friendly if I'm in a pencil mood)
Five alcohol markers (or color pencils)
20 card bases
Adhesive and blending brushes
Special cards for loved ones and friends are a different animal. I can go all out on those with watercolors, embossing, making them interactive, etc. .

LOVE THIS - so well-curated and what a fantastic idea!
Thank you to everyone for your responses thus far; this is super cool to see - and super helpful for me to think about and pursue to get something done in a realistic amount of time. Time is SUPER short for crafting right now yet we're entering the season of several cards needed for birthdays/anniversaries/etc. in my circle whose cards I cannot fathom buying for them!
Please keep the suggestions coming!

My preferred cards still are simple but not CAS...I'm happiest using
1) DSP
2) solid cardstock
3) ribbon
4) flower or rhinestone
5) sentiment or image (coloring with Crayola colored pencils if necessary for image)
6) dies for cardstock, dsp and sentiment or image
That is what I use on most of my cards that I donate 800-1,000 cards a year to our local hospital infusion bay area.
