Default brayering and rubber bands

I once saw a neat card where the background was made using a brayer wrapped in rubber bands and then inked. The ink only stuck to the bands and it left a design that was similar to bamboo. I have tried duplicating it but I can't quite make it work so the design looks right. Anyone out there know what I am talking about? Can you help? Thanks!

Sounds intriguing! I'd like to know, too!

I love my little friend, GOOGLE. I just went there and typed in Rubber Band Brayer stamping and a ton of searches came up. Good luck!

I'm not sure if this will help, but here is a link with directions for the Banded Brayer Backgrounds technique:

Here's a card I found in the gallery using this technique (it's not my card, but I think it's so cute):

Thanks you guys for the suggestions! I think I am on the right track now and I will have to practice and use patience. Something I am not so good at! :p
