subscribing....now my curiosity is peaked....started on page one and read all the way through--it's like a good novel and the suspense just keeps building. Now I MUST know how to re-create this lovely embellishment!
So looking forward to your tutorial - but make sure that you take the time
you and your family needs to deal with your uncle's injury. That's much more
important.
I've been following this for a long time for your tutorial. Thank you for letting us know about your family issues. Just want you to know all of you are in my prayers.

I sure hope Pam puts it up soon. I could use a new project to try. Tropical Storm Fay has just stalled and is sitting off the coast and just hitting us with
rain and high winds. Go Away Fay...................we've had enough!!!
Bless your heart...we are at the mercy of Mother Nature aren't we. Hugs to you!

I have to admit that I haven't read EVERY post since I was here last. I was stunned when I went to Pam's blog and she shared the nastiness that was expressed to her. I sent her a message with my sympathies because it was totally unnecessary for people to be so nasty! There is nothing new under the sun, even in stamping, and Pam was kind enough to put the tutorial out there for us to find!
Anyway, has a new tutorial been posted anywhere? I would love to try this!
I've been coming back to see if the tutorial is up but like many of you we are all still waiting. I'm going to try this today and see if I can come close. It is a beautiful element to add. Perhaps we all can master it some day. Thank you Pam for the inspiration and the desire to succeed!
Well ladies I tried but couldn't get it right. I used about 18 pieces of ribbon, stacked, tied, pushed, pulled, twisted, trimmed, and gave up. I guess I'll wait for the tutorial like everyone else. I did make use of my ribbons though. I store some of my scrap ribbons in large canning jars and I glued it to a scallop punch and glued it to the lid. Couldn't waste the ribbon!
lol....I want to see your ribbon lid embellishment. ;)

Lynn I would love to show you my attempted ribbon embellishment but I'm embarassed to say I don't know how to upload photos in the gallery or the forums. LOL! One of my goals to figure out.
I can't believe I JUST found this thread!!! I have been trying to make a ribbon blossom since I first saw hers. Like everyone else I can't get the blossom to look like a blossom. I stalk her blog every day hoping for the next tutorial. What I have done that may help some of you is once I have the original blob done, I make a smaller blob and then attach it to the big blob with a glue dot. It really helps with the center which is where I am having all my problems. Here is a card that I did where it didn't turn out too bad. I will now be waiting and watching like everyone to see how the master does it!
I just came upon all these threads, and I can hardly wait to see the ribbon blossom. It's so sad when people can't enjoy a thing of beauty and just be happy to see and try something fun. Thanks for being so creative, and I will wait patiently to see your beautiful creation.
I'm a newbie to this site but I love those bows and i want to know how to make them. (not sure if I could make them even with an awesome tutorial but I can try!)

I had been following this thread for a bit in anticipation of Pam's tutorial. It totally peeves me to see that there are peeps out there that are down right nasty and it saddens me! Pam keep your head up and I know you're going through family stuff right now my thoughts are with you!

I'm a fiddler, I like to fiddle with my fingers (although I did used to play the violin ages ago!) and I thought to give it a go. I used 32 pieces of ribbon cut approx. 3.25 inches long all green, different kinds of ribbon...grosgrain, organza with different patterns. Used embroidery floss to tie it together really tight, then fiddled with it (it took quite a bit of fiddling!!) and then finally trimmed the ends.
It doesn't look quite right yet, it sort of looks like a sea anemone (that doesn't look spelled right!)...I'm wondering if I should haul out the curling iron...
