Default Alcohol Inks

I saw a few recent cards in the gallery that used either a technique or a product called alcohol inks. I haven't heard of it before, but from what I've seen, I can't afford not to learn about it! I have been looking through the techniques listed in forums and trying to find out "how'd they do that?!" If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it!

I don't know exactly to do the technique off hand, but if you go to the "resources" page (the link is on the top right of any SCS page), you should be able to find it. I know the Polished Stone technique uses alcohol and regular ink.

There are a few brands that sell alcohol inks, Adirondak (I think that's spelled wrong, but it's close) and Tim Holtz. They come in dropper bottles like regular reinkers, and then you don't have to add your own alcohol.

HTH! I'm sure someone with a little more expertise can give you some better answers!

I think I like that idea! A couple Margaritas and then it won't really matter what I try ;)
