Default Adhesives and Buttons???

Hi there! I am just wondering what the best kind of adhesive is for putting a design (on cardstock) on the back of a clear button??? I have done it before but cannot remember what adhesive I used  . Thanks!

I like the clear dots. I recently discovered that if I tie thread or twine through the buttonhole...it sticks a lot better. It must be a "texture" thing.

I've used both the glue dots and the crystal effects with success. Generally if I am tying twine or embroidery thread through the button holes, I may not use any adhesive. ;)

You're talking about attaching patterned paper to the back of the clear button so that you see the paper through it? I'd use Crystal Effects / Glossy Accents. I've tried the tiny micro-dots from Studio-Tac, and while they are good and sticky, they tend to add a slight *screen* texture. A think layer of CE and wiping any extra off quickly works well for me.

Just a question...but would glue dots make the button appear a little more opaque (ie not be able to see the patterned paper clearly?
