Default 6x6 Box

I want to make a box (preferably with an acetate lid) to present a card it. I see lot's of pizza box templates but nothing that size. Does anyone know of a template or tutorial for a box that size. It does not have to be a pizza box, any box template to accomodate a 5 3/4 x 5 3/4" x 1" deep card will do, but I would really like to have a clear lid or at least a window on the lid.

Thanks so much for the help

Default Box to hold a single card?

I originally posted this as 6x6 box and did not get any replies. Perhaps I'm thinking in the wrong direction?? I am wanting to make a box 6" square that can hold a 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" card that I don't want squished into an envelope. Does anyone know of a template to make such a thing? I am also hoping to make a clear lid with acetate.

Thanks so much

Your request reminded me about this gorgeous project that I bookmarked. Scroll down to the box instructions. You might be able to adapt it to the size of box you need. Good luck:

As far as an acetate window in the box lid, here's a cute cupcake box tutorial that gives you the basic concept and steps:

If you want to make a lid out of acetate, here's a tutorial that might help. Scroll down toward the bottom:

Could you use flowerbug's template but score at 1",2",8",9"? That would leave a 6" square in the middle for your card, if I did my math right. You would have to have a piece of cardstock 10" by 10". Try it with a piece of copy paper first to see it that is correct.

The OP hasn't been back since she posted, so maybe she's figured it out.
