This simple and easy technique is so fun and it adds such great texture and interest to any card. If you don't own any stencils, use some of your dies to create one.
So, here's what you need to do:
1. Pick out one of your favourite embossing folders and run it through your die cutting machine with some cardstock to dry emboss it.
2. Place a stencil or a stencil you made using your die cuts, over the embossing and ink it all up.
3. Finish your card however you would like. I hope you can play along and have fun with today's challenge!

Here is mine. I'm sending this birthday card to my niece. It will get there just after her birthday, but I wanted her to know I'm thinking of her. Great challenge!
As a bonus, after sponging my stencil I was able to get a very nice rainbow print from it which I am sure I will use for something else. Thanks, Karen.
