It's been seven years since the Stamp Selfies tutorial featured as a TLC, and nothing has been uploaded to the gallery since 2018 so I think it's time to come round to it again. Christmas selfies would be great if you're that way inclined! At the time of writing this, that's what I wanted to do because I badly need Christmas cards but I couldn't get my mind into gear. Maybe in the intervening week I'll get both time and mojo.
Personally I don't think it's necessary to cut the selfie frame for a mask, you should be able to just eyeball that pretty well, or use your final die-cut frame as a guide.
If you don't have a selfie frame - no problem. To get an appropriate size in the past when my own frame dies (large and small, no Golidlocks happy medium) haven't suited, I've just used a square die and a rectangle.
Remember to use the keyword TLC976 when you are uploading. It's helpful if you come back and leave a link on this thread, especially in case you made a typo and people may not find your card.
Also please remember to upload to the gallery - choose Technique Spotlight, then Stamp Selfies from the second dropdown menu. If you're uploading on a computer, you don't even need to scroll - you can just type tec and then type stamp in the second list and it will bring you right down the listing.
If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread. 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
I have waited all week to be home during the right daylight hours to take this photo. Maybe I should dig out all the light box supplies i have somewhere in the basement and set up a winter photo station...
These two sets will forever be in my list of favorites - the Penny Black Snowy and SU! Lovely as a Tree. Here is my Snowy Selfie
