Dare To Get Dirty is happening over at the Fan Club and Fan Club members (Join HERE) are crafting their dirty little fingers off with the most fun challenges of the year! Since attention has SHIFTED, I thought it would be appropriate to do a Shifted Stencil Technique today--besides, it's super easy so you will have time to make ALLL the cards! The video below is where I got the idea, but it isfancier and more complicated than my cards.
The main idea is to ink your stencil, shift the paper slightly and ink again in a different color. It gives a very cool effect. I fell in love with it when we were doing K Dunbrook's Torn Paper Stenciling for TLC953. My ATC (with the sunglasses) attached below is made with my torn paper from that challenge. I loved the look!
Remember to use the keyword TLC961 when you are uploading. It's helpful if you come back and leave a link on this thread, especially in case you made a typo and people may not find your card.
If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
