Happy Monday!!
Today's challenge is a mojo refresh challenge. Or at least it was for me. I have been really struggling with mojo lately but I saw the challenge at Vera Lane Studios and I got so excited. The challenge was to create a "mini moo" every day for the month of March with daily prompts. I decided to take the challenge and it has been so much fun and has really renewed my joy in doing something daily even if just for a few minutes. So our challenge is to create a Mini Moo...
A mini moo is a card that is 1.125" X 2.75" - half of a business card lengthwise. It is such a small canvas that it isn't overwhelming. Also, This size is perfect for those scraps! Which as you may know, using up my scraps has been a goal for me this year. I used both scraps of water color and heavy card and scraps of previously created backgrounds - you save those too right. It is ok to admit it
You can also just start fresh if you don't have scraps.
OK - now you have a background cut to the correct size, just decorate it and that is all there is to it. I love adding little sentiments so the can stand on their own. It is fun just looking at these sweet cards on my desk but these could be traded (like ATCs) or if you wanted, you could mount them on a card base for a CAS card where the focal piece is anything but CAS. Just have fun and don't stress over it.
Note: It is also fun to look through the stash of pre-colored images you may have already (if you are like me and sometimes you just want to color and not create a project.) If any fit the mini moo card, it is that much more awesome as you have now scrounged through scraps and colored images and you get to actually make something from them. SCORE!
I can not wait to see what you come up with!!
Hugs,
Lyn

If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/show photo..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
