April already! Following on from my Back to Chalkboard last month, I had been planning to do "Back to Bokeh" this month - but since it was featured as a VSN challenge, I thought a lot of people would already have just done it, so I made a switch.
I know that Susie was a big fan of Irene's
Checkerboard Flooring tutorial, and while I think I have done it before, my uploads must have gone to the stamp set I used rather than the Technique Spotlight gallery.
The tutorial is here:

Check (pun intended) out her alternatives for a timber floor, or a sidewalk if you want to make it really quick and easy. Don't feel limited to black and white - Dina has a great blue and green example in the gallery - which you can see here:

To add your card to the gallery - choose Technique Spotlight from the first dropdown menu, and Checkerboard Flooring from the second set of options.
** Another option for making it easy - there is a clickable link in Step 3 of the tutorial to a printable template. I printed it, and by holding my card up to the light, was able to make pencil dots where I needed them for ruling my lines.
Here's a link to our gallery:

TLC893 Hopes or Fears? by Cook22 at Splitcoaststampers
Remember to use the keyword
TLC893 when you are uploading. It's helpful if you come back and leave a link on this thread, especially in case you made a typo and people may not find your card.
If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
