Hello and Welcome
It's my first time posting in this New Year.
My challenge for you this week I'm calling: TLC884; Paper Weaving with a Twist
So my challenge for you this week is to weave some paper. There are a few ways to do it but you can keep it pretty simple by using the over and under technique with paper strips.
The twist....once you have your paper woven together, stamp an image on top of the weaving and colour it. Please don't just add a die cut shape over the weaving but instead stamp directly onto it.
It is a great way to use up some of those paper strips you have possibly been saving too.
Remember to use the keyword TLC884 when you are uploading. It's helpful if you come back and leave a link on this thread, especially in case you made a typo and people may not find your card.
I hope you can come and play along with us. Looking forward to seeing what you create!
If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread. 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE

Hi Karen.. how can I sign up for these challenges? I get the newsletter and it's challenge every week in my inbox, but definitely did not see this one in the newsletter? Thanks in advance!

It should have been easily found by clicking on the link in the Inkling
Click on Thread Tools, choose Subscribe to this thread and then choose instant notification; then whenever the hostess posts the challenge, she also posts on that thread and you should get an email.
And a bonus card to use up the leftover weaving piece, tho I didn’t officially count it for this challenge because I didn’t do the twist of stamping and coloring:
Thanks for such a great technique for this challenge! First time weaving paper for me, so did a few trials and errors (which you won't see). Here is my card: Weave-N-Stamp by johnsopa at Splitcoaststampers
