Today I get to host the Technique Lover's Challenge and I have been playing around with a fun oldie but goodie - All the way from TLC10, I am doing the Joseph's Coat Technique but with some of my current products - meaning Distress Oxides
This is super fun and pretty quick but I made a video to show the process. You can find it HERE.
I played around with several backgrounds but only got one card completed haha - this is what I made from the video background.
I hope you are inspired to join the challenge and create some fun backgrounds - be warned it is a little messy and a lot addictive
Love this technique and one of the first ones I tried a few years ago. Thanks for the challenge.

I enjoyed your video. I hope to try this later with the Oxide inks that I own. Loved seeing that NinaB is still designing. I have missed seeing her work in recent years.
I've been going to try this with DOX inks as I've never had great success with the regular distress. Maybe tonight, hopefully tomorrow. I'm running a bit behind with things.
Oh my! So much fun. I made a note to try this technique over the holidays when I was reminded of it on Justine Hovey's top technique's video. I was happy to see it it for today's TLC, and made *very many* panels! LOL.
My first attempt I misread the directions and used white embossing powder. That card turned out nice, but then I tried again with the clear powder and got the full effect. I love how it turned out. Thanks for the technique instructions! Here is my card.
