OK, here is the link to my second try and I do like this one better -- also, I have been suffering from extremely poor quality photos the last 2/3 days and I couldn't figure out why -- well, read my description on this card to find out why -- no brains, no headaches!!! Here's my link:
I tried again, going for an Engelbreit look - still with white craft & clear EP. I just can't get a white enough base to achieve the vibrant pastel color. Still a fun technique, though. Thanks Beth! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Well I finally got to do this one. It has been weeks since I have done a weekly challenge. Thanks for an awesome one Beth. I used Ranger Seafoam white with artist pastels (my SU ones are still packed) and marker over that. It's been awhile so let me know what you think.
I LOVE this. I should be in bed, but I am enjoying that the kids are going back to school, and I can STAMP!!! YES!
OK, here is my 3rd stab at this. This time the chalk changed shades from Real Rust to more of a burgandy color. So, I took out Cranberry again and it is a perfect match. Hope you enjoy!
I did not have white ink but I used my trusty versamark pad and it got the job done. I also had some paper left over from our last challenge using versamark resist. Thank you for looking!
I hate to admit that I messed up two perfectly good pieces of cardstock and failed both times. I just cannot work with pastels. I am just challenged with them. So sad. I did try....!
Don't worry, it took me a few times too! You are very talented, and I love your stuff!
finally got one done now that everyone else is sleeping!! better late than never... Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
was not successful in my first attempt, this one is a little better. TFL!!
Decided to give this a try after seeing all the lovely cards posted yesterday.
Okay...here's mine: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Now I just have to think of someone who "loves pink" to send it too.
Thanks for looking.
I couldn't get this card uploaded yesterday due to printer problems - ARG! This is my 1st attempt at Pastel Embossing. It was fun! Here is the link to my card: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Yea, so fun to stamp again! I missed it so!
Thanks for the new technique. I will have to try it again and really get the hang of it!

This is my 2nd challenge card and I again used Stipple Rose. I used different colors and layout and got a different look. I love the SR image for this challenge. Even tho I like this one, I think I like the first one even more so.
Here's my 2nd card Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Here's my second card for the challenge. Will also be doing this for project at an upcoming workshop my upline is holding. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
My TLC78 pastel embossing combined with WT78 little stamps challenge. It was nice to play with my chalks. Also I have wanted to use my Painted Poisies for ages. BTW, we are finally back on our satellite service :-)

Imagine my surprise when I saw my Serene Sunflower page used as an example for this technique. I did NOT use a blender pen and this is why my pastels are so vibrant. I used sponge daubers and my finger to really work the colour into the cooled, embossed image. I also used markers to add and intensify the colour around the centers of the flowers.

I finally got around to trying this! My first card isn't that great, but I do want to do this again! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
