Hello stamping friends!
It's the first Monday challenge of September, and that means a look back and/or revisit of a previous Technique Lovers Challenge. (September?? How did that happen??!)
Today we are revisiting TLC417 Wishy Washi Tape
from February 2013. You can follow the simple instructions there for using purchased, or for making your own washi tape. You may have other techniques for making your own as well.
I have never been able to find tape such as that shown in the tutorial. I remember making some DIY tape once with masking tape, I guess I could try that again. What I like about washi is its transparency, and the only thing I could emulate that with is Scotch magic tape, which I probably only have two inks that would set on it!
Looking forward to trying something after the housework...
Thanks, Judy. I agree on September, how did that happen!
thanks for the fun challenge, Judy! I don't have much Washi tape & I don't use what I have very much. Here's my Candy Corn Halloween. thanks so much for looking.
Here is my card! I felt stretched by this challenge, but I'm glad I stuck with it. I think I will make another and give them to two friends who I meet for coffee every Tuesday morning!
