Good morning! It's my turn to host the Technique Challenge today and I have chosen a very simple technique that everyone who owns a punch can do! No fancy name, no fancy technique -- just stamp, punch, and separate.
Take any image and stamp it. Bold images or line art colored in will both work. Take a punch (any shape will work) and punch it out several times. Separate your image by mounting the images apart from each other. Mine are close, but you can do it however you wish!
EASY!
I look forward to seeing what punches you choose! Hoping to see simple geometrics such as squares, circles, and rectangles, as well as more detailed or intricate punches! Have fun!
I couldn't picture it from the write-up but as soon as I saw your upload it made total sense. A bit like stamping on labels, in appearance! I have some basic housework to get through and then I'm up for giving this a try . Thanks, Judy.
Here's mine. I did punch something with my "inchie" punch, but that seemed a bit unimaginative so I made a quick trip back to the drawing board. TLC490 Summer Song
Judy- I thought it would be cool to disassemble a pickup- and since I was at it, why not the sentiment? I added a bronze embossed background for texture, and a yellow paint splattered dp. Finished with some dark blue dp for a rugged background. Here's Cherry Pickup

I had fun using this vintage style flower stamp, colored with watercolors. I blow dried the card to set the colors, then used a rotary cutter to slice it, and finally ripped off the edges. I sponged some yellow and lilac for a simple background, and handwrote my sentiment. Here's Watercolor Flowers

Well, it's been a while since I did a challenge and now I've done two for the same one. Love this technique. This time I punched the squares first then stamped on them after pushing them together; a great idea from BobbiesGirl.
