I know that many of you in the U.S. may be busy today with Memorial Day observances and family celebrations, so I have a very quick and easy technique challenge, and one that probably isn't new to very many of you. But I still love the look!
The challenge is to DISTRESS YOUR EDGES. You can see Beate's great tutorial HERE. Bonus points (just an extra pat on your back) if you also use Distress Ink to distress your edges.
My sample:MANY TANKS uses both distress ink and a distressing tool.
Looks like fun. I'm going to see what I can distress! Here's my card.

Thanks for the fun challenge (and early post), Judy! Since I get the 'heebie jeebies' when I use my distressing tool, I distressed with ink instead....hope the challenge police don't come after me!!! HUGS!!
Grin, it would almost be more of a challenge for me NOT to distress mine. Last forecast day of wonderful sunshine here, but I hope to come along with something at some stage in the day.
Well, I have today off, and plan to spend it in the craft room, that is if I can find it. thanks for the Challenge. Maybe it will kick my but in gear and get me to do something in there.
Judy- thanks for the easy challenge today! I had some bronze ink I used to distress my ATC- done with Tim Holtz's Patterns stamp and Hero Art's Sew Artsy. Here's Shabby Sew Artsy

So after 2 years of not stamping, I made a card for todays challenge, uploaded it to my computer and tried to upload it to my gallery and it's too big... Of course we have new laptops and I dont have a photo program to resize it... Figures....
Didn't get a chance to check out the TLC yesterday, but when I looked today I realized the card I'd just finished for class this week fit the bill...inked edges and all (lol) Will try to comment on the gallery cards later. TFL
