I incorporated a ribbon rose into today's card to qualify for the technique lover's challenge and a great challenge it was! I loved seeing how people use ribbon in different ways. Lots of great ideas from this challenge, Joan. Thanks for hosting this week.

Up Up & Away
I have a whole wall of ribbon so this should have been a no brainer for me....but not so much. I realized I am totally reliant on knots and bows!!! Finally, I decided to use some of my ribbon stash to decorate a hot air balloon. I used a piece of cardboard for the shape and them glued strips of ribbon on the cardboard and then trimmed when the glue was dry. Then I formed the basket from a polka dot paper scrap and "attached" it to the balloom with some satin trim. Somehow this little doggie jumped into the basket and stayed. It may not make sense but I like him. TFL.
