Happy Tomato and Sunflower Thoughts
Bedtime here for me, so I'll be back in the morning to comment.
Thanks for an interesting challenge today, Lynn. I snuck the last bit of tomato paste into my beef and Guinness stew, and used the tube from that for my metal.
I did some metal embossing using pop cans. You can use a stylus and mouse pad to make some cool embellishments. I also used embossing powder and heat-embossed the metal can. I then stamped an image onto it and used craft paint to highlight the indentations.
Took me all day to decide if I was going to try the pop can technique. Well I'm very happy that I did, I think I will try it again soon. Thanks for the great challenge.
Finally got mine uploaded. The first attempt I stamped on the stars with more stars, but I didn't like it so no stamping on my metal, just inked it with alcohol inks.

didn't I read somewhere that you can use your punches on a tin can as well? I'm afraid to try it, as I don't want to ruin it, but can anyone tell me if they've done this? Punched a pop can? thanks
The butterfly is just stunning. I don't have any Stazon, will paints work? Nothing similar to Stazon is available here in India, so I will definitely go looking for an alternative... I loved the effect.
I don't think I can compete with the butterflies, they are so fun, colourful, fancy free and a whole lot of other things...great work. Anyhow here is my attempt at working with the pop can.
