Happy Tomato and Sunflower Thoughts
Bedtime here for me, so I'll be back in the morning to comment.
Thanks for an interesting challenge today, Lynn. I snuck the last bit of tomato paste into my beef and Guinness stew, and used the tube from that for my metal.

I did some metal embossing using pop cans. You can use a stylus and mouse pad to make some cool embellishments. I also used embossing powder and heat-embossed the metal can. I then stamped an image onto it and used craft paint to highlight the indentations.

Took me all day to decide if I was going to try the pop can technique. Well I'm very happy that I did, I think I will try it again soon. Thanks for the great challenge.

Finally got mine uploaded. The first attempt I stamped on the stars with more stars, but I didn't like it so no stamping on my metal, just inked it with alcohol inks.

TFL!!

Default Hooray Card with Soda can medal

This was a fun challenge (and I sharpened a few punches too!) Made the little medal by punching the 1 3/8 circle punch and adhered my "1" to it.

Here's my card.

Thanks for the challenge.

Somehow I thought, metal goes with a male card... but dooh, it is soooo difficult... and took me far too long!

didn't I read somewhere that you can use your punches on a tin can as well? I'm afraid to try it, as I don't want to ruin it, but can anyone tell me if they've done this? Punched a pop can? thanks

Default Stunning...!

The butterfly is just stunning. I don't have any Stazon, will paints work? Nothing similar to Stazon is available here in India, so I will definitely go looking for an alternative... I loved the effect.

I don't think I can compete with the butterflies, they are so fun, colourful, fancy free and a whole lot of other things...great work. Anyhow here is my attempt at working with the pop can.

Default Here is my second entry for the metal stamping

Wow, it is seldom that I get to do 2 cards for the TLC, but this was so much fun, I tried it on a cuttlebug heart. Love it:

Not quite navy heart

Thanks for looking and enjoy.
