Thanks again Lynn and Stephanie for an awesome Flower Pot Pocket Card. I just had to do a 2nd card that I will be making with my hostess club girls. They are just going to love it :-) Enjoy.......
This was so much fun, I made two, and am going to make some more. I just can't seem to stop making flowers! All my friends are getting a flower pot for Mother's Day. I even uploaded two cards - my first TLC !
Wish I knew how to put in a link to my cards. Oh, well, I am finally fairly happy with a card I made. That's enough for me.
Am I the only one to be confused by the measurements as written on the tutorial link? I followed them exactly and frankly it did not work. I believe the cs should be 3 1/2 by 11 and score at 2 and 6 1/2. Didn't anybody else find this error or am I completely off my rocker?
Okay hunny I think if I read it right it was 3 1/2" wide and 9" long then you score it at
2" and 5 1/2" and you just make sure that when you make the pocket insert you make sure it stays at the 5 1/2" so it will fit into an A2 size envelope. I hope this makes sense and it helps you out ;) have a great time creating

I had to laugh when reading your post, sounds like what my sister said about not drinking wine while trying to figure out a new knitting pattern ;)
WOW: What a lovely card! I've been looking at the gallery at all the creations so far and am really liking this card idea.
I might try and start one this evening and wanted to know, is this quite easy to do? Can I follow the instructions to the letter and it'll come out okay? Or will I become stuck like kiki for example? Shall I make a "rough" one first in case I mess up my nice cardstock and decorative papers?
Lynn - Thanks for sharing this technique. I tried it this past weekend and I simply love it! I'll definitely be making these for mother's day this year.

I'm just a bit late with these! lol Thanks Lynn... these were really fun and make good Mother's Day cards!! The only thing I was stumped with was the back... you can see where I glued the leaves to the flowers, etc. Did any of you "finish them off" in the back? Anyhoo... here are my 3:
These cards are so adorable! They are a perfect project for my Big Shot Big Fun class today. Thanks for the challenge and tutorial! I had a ton of fun and I expect I will be making a lot more of these. I guess I need to go check to see if they fit in envelopes now.
