Hi Lynn,
Finally had a chance to try this. I love this technique thanks so much!
I think I will have to try it again and use the birds and swirls you did.
This seems PERFECT for this one.
I tried to be brave and try my own and it's not as nice but here ya go!

I just now am getting brave enough to post my cards. Here is one I did a little while ago. I am very proud of it because I came up with it on my own and it was perfect for my son and his move!

This TLC popped up again so I had to do it all over!
Using a holiday card this time. I think it turned out WAY better than my first one!

TLC207 I love you cupcake for Yolanda by Crafty Julia
I thought this was an adorable cupcake stamp, so I added a tissue paper pink cut out heart for this challenge, a 3 layered felt flower from SU, and some punched images to accent it. The ribbons are from my dear friend Yolanda. Enjoy!

TLC207 October Golf-In the Rough by Crafty Julia
I have this cute golfing set from Stampin Up from one of our SCS community members- and I wanted to give it a good background- so I used Pesto Green for the image- which has distressed edges- and added some color with pencils. I then cut out some golf ball and wooden tee images from some Hallmark gift wrap paper (TLC207). I added a gift wrap metallic background, then a blue sky and a sun. The green raffia, used for providing a dimensional effect with the grass, has green Stampin Up striped paper underneath it. I added some twine and green floss with a few chunky beads, and finally, "In The Rough" as that's where a few of the golf balls have already landed! Here's my card:
