I love how the glittery background really makes the card sparkle.

Quite some time ago, I bought some Super Sticky pages from Confessions of a Ribbon Addict and they came in different shapes and patterns. This zigzag pattern was perfect with this technique. TLC202 Love You Much by ReginaBD at Splitcoaststampers

Finally got to try this! Used today's featured stamper (FS101 - Jaydekay) as inspiration. In fact it was the card she did for this challenge this inspired me!
Finally found time this weekend to try this technique -- and I have to say that I am now a glitterated woman (so is my stamping desk, the carpet in my stamp room, my clothes, my hair!) I loved the results of this technique but wonder if there is a secret to keeping the glitter confined??? I'm really disappointed with the scan of this card, it's so much more sparkly IRL:
Thanks for this technique! It really is a beautiful effect. But after I finished
my card Friday night about midnight and showed the dh and was ready to come to bed, I had to promise not to use this again for awhile.
He loved the card but he took me to the mirror and I literally was covered in glitter head to toe. I had to take a shower! And still, the next day, we had to vacumn my pillow and the bed sheets not to mention my desk, the floor
and everything else. I thought it was pretty funny but since dh did most of the vacumning, he did not see the humor quite as much.
And while I did shoo the two poodles from the room, they somehow mananged to get purple and green glitter all over them and their playpen too!
Here's one from me that combines TLC202, CC200 & almost LSC202 (missing the red paper). It's for my DD's 14th birthday next week. Thanks for these challenges - I have been on hiatus trying desperately to finish a scrapbook - so I needed these challenges to get me back into cards - especially with the mini-vsn coming up next week!
