do we have to make this particular bookmark or can we be creative on our own.... I understand no rectangle ones but can we go circles or squares or something else in that thought?

Altered the dimensions a little (made my strip 6" x 1 1/2"). Fun, quick project and a great way to use up those DP scraps! MARK IT!

I can't figure out the dimensions on the bookmark tutorial...it says 5-1/8" but is that square because I tried it that way and it won't work. It really isn't clear what the full dimensions are supposed to be. Maybe it's just me....anyone else having difficulty with it?

Back to dark evenings and indoor photos on days I am working :( .
Whew - this was much harder than I thought it would be!! I used the method that Vicky linked - it was easier for me too Vicky! I had such trouble with the triangle though - I finally gave up and decorated the rectangular section. Sheesh - stamping is supposed to be fun ;)
If you have a strip of paper, and mark the center of your strip, then fold down from the right, to that center line, then do the same from the left, you should have a perfect triangle. You can make your ends any length you want by adjusting the length of your strip you use. (did that make ANY sense at all?)

We did a similar bookmark for the Sept. 2007 VSN, but thanks for another cute challenge, Lynne - can never make too many of these fast and simple bookmarks for little gifts. I hope you don't mind, but I used the tutorial found here: http://stampdetails.blogspot.com/200...-bookmark.html It was the one we used for VSN and for some reason, I found it easier - just call me dense! Anywho, here's my
