Here is the card that I made for this challenge. I had all the scraps and this stamp set on my desk already, so I went with cupcakes again. Made mine a circle instead of a rectangle. Thanks for the challenge Beth. I've never done one of these before but will be making more for sure.
This was an awesome tutorial. I have been in a rut of making the same old 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 cards. This was a nice way to change it up. Here is my first one and will probably make another one. I hope you like it.
Unfortunately, these kind of cards always scared me and it is not better after reading this instructions. So I will miss this week's tutorial. I measure everything in metric and if there is so much measuring, I find it quite difficult to convert, especially as all my tools, apart from a simple plastic ruler have cm and not inches on it. But I am very (!) impressed with everyones entries, your cards are gorgeous! Perhaps I am lucky and next week is a 'less measuring' project on offer! ;)

Beth, this was alittle intimidating at first but once I started I really enjoy the challenge!! Thanks for another great challenge!! A challenge wouldn't be a challenge if it did not get you to think outside the box!!!
Whew! Haven't even had time to look at one card in the gallery yet so I sure hope this one's right! LOL! Here's what I came up with and thanks for looking!

My TLC172 Pop Up.......gosh, what fun. My 1st try......I think it would make a really fun party project :-) Thanks again Beth for an awesome technique...
This is a "pop up card" but not the exact one Beth challenged us to make. Since I see in the gallery that tons of other people cheated, I am going to too. My SECOND CHALLENGE.....
Okay so I'm a total moron, I came on and said I was making a card but then I didn't attach the link, I am still learning here, and I am totally computer challenged - this is so good for me in that respect!! Anyway- I will now attach my pop op card.....which is much cuter IRL, but still looks pretty cute. Hope you like my second challenge!! Here's the address:
After looking at the tutorial..,. and then everyone's card... I think I'll have to sleep on this... Father's Day is coming and I want to make an extra special card for my son's 1st FD...
We'll see tomorrow!!
