I love this technique and am going to do a few more cards with my different embossing folders. I can't believe I actually got a card made AND uploaded on the day of the challenge - I think that's a first for me!!
I made a card this afternoon using a dry embossing brass plate but I can't seem to upload any cards and I've been trying for hours. So I hope I can share with you what I did later tonight. Otherwise, tomorrow maybe.
The brass plate worked just fine. I brayered the brass plate with ink, carefully turned it over on my white card stock, taped it down, turned the card stock over on to my light table and dry embossed the image. I then peeled off the tape and voila, my negative dry embossed result. It worked out really well. Thanks so much for the challenge. For those of us without the Cuttlebug etc. it really was a challenge.

Thank you for your comments on my card. I apologise for not leaving commments on anyone's card today - life got in the way I'm afraid :(
I look forward to living a less hectic life tomorrow

I love all the cards everyone has made with this technique. What a great idea! I hope to feel better from this cold I've been battling for the past week to be able to play!!

I had to do this one again too! I was scared of this technique previously (bad experience with green pigment ink and a stained folder!) but it works so beautifully with my SU! inks.
This was a fun challenge. I've never tried this technique before but am pleasantly surprised by the results. I'll definitely be doing this technique in the future. Thanks! Here's mine: Yet ANOTHER Easter Card
It is possible to get a result with out a cuttlebug or some other embossing machine, but I don't think I will do it a lot. It took me two hours to make this card, and I only did two little corners. Let me know what you think. Did I acheive the look?
