I think I totally missed the point on this one...I was more concerned with the time limit than with the good cause theme... I suppose this would only be appropriate for a very limited amount of situations.
Well this challenge was right up my ally this time, as my husband just asked me to do some type of a gift certificate for our local high school's auction to raise money. So even tho I was sicker than a dog today, I knew I had to get them done so he could take to work tomorrow. It took about 10 minutes for me to come up with the design (while having my first cup of coffee) and 5 minutes to make. Also because I created his gift certificate on the PC, I did a unsigned card for the owner to send to someone and included my business card with the certificate to get my name out there for business also!! This was a win/win situation for me, helping for a worthy cause and advertising at the same time.
P.S. I have really enjoyed looking at all the cards submitted for this challenge, many new ideas presented and I always need new ideas for quick cards -- thanks to all of you!!

What a timely challenge, Beth... I have a co-worker who just recently started chemo and my goal is to make or send a card every week to let her know that we miss her and we're thinking about her. Also, I really want to re-evaluate my stamping approach and try to simplify my style - this is the perfect challenge for both!!
Thanks you Beth for the challenge. Think this is the fastest card I've ever made, even if it looks a little naked (LOL)! Here it is: TLC121 by mspfd at Splitcoaststampers
This truly was a challenge for me! I also spend way too much time working on a masterpiece, and often miss the opportunity to be a blessing to someone. I love the challenge for it's encouragement to reach out to other! You are all such an inspiration to me, and I am really getting hooked into the daily challenges. Thanks for all of your wonderful comments!
I did 2 sets of cards for today's challenge. The first set was done for the "quick and easy" part of the challenge, and worked out well because I really needed to make thank you notes for my DD to send for her Confirmation gifts. So here's my first set of cards...
This was a great challenge! I think stampers get caught up in making complicated cards when sometimes we just need to send a good thought someone's way.
First TLC I've attempted - want to make a bunch of cards to send to "A Card for Home". They will be forwarded to Canadian soldiers serving overseas to send home to their families. I combined it with the Limited Supplies challenge from last week and came up with this simple card.

Here are a few more samples of quick cards which took no longer than 5 minutes. Garden Green Floral Simply 5 minutes Simple Said 5 minutes
Thanks for looking! Thanks for the challenge! I'm finding amazing cards I can make in 5 minutes. Thanks ladies!

I got sidetracked on a lot of things (sometimes I guess life sort of interferes with what we want to stamp!). I hope I can go through the rest of these cards soon - I already have several in my favorites!
This one took a bit longer than 10 minutes, but was pretty fast. Thanks to Toy for some inspiration, though she may not want the association - hers is a lot cuter.
I had fun with this. I'm much better at quick and simple than "masterpieces". But I'm actually not very satisfied with the results. Go figure. The cards that have been posted are so beautiful in their simplicity. I'm going to keep working on this type of card - they don't have to be ornate and complex to be lovely.
But I just noticed that every one of mine has at least one element that is crooked. I guess I was trying to stay in the 10 minute time limit. :-)
