Gave this technique another try and I am happier with the results this time. Whole process went better. Tried the rock and roll for lack of spectrum pads and I like it better than using just one color on an image.

This is a record for me - two cards for the same challenge on the same day! I still haven't mastered this technique - I am either too wet or too dry - but, I used watercolor paper this time, and that seemed to work better!
