I love crayon resist and just did it at a workshop Saturday night and for a recent shoebox swap! I'll try to upload the card later today...at home studying for a test on Thursday...
Well, I totally slept in this morning! Great technique, Beth. I havent' done this in quite awhile. And I absolutely love the idea of using candles. Should be able to buy a whole pack of white. If I can even find any, the white crayons always get dirty in the crayon bucket and you have to clean them off to use them  . And since my kids are college age, I don't need to buy new crayons every year for school.
yay, I LOVE resist techniques...I will have to play later. The craziness of May does not truly subside until Thursday (last day of school) but then kids are home...it NEVER ends! Will I EVER be able to stamp whenever I want to? sigh...

Fun technique--I'd like to try more but we'll have to see how the day goes-busy, busy, busy! Here's mine. Crate Paper and Crayon Resist
Thanks for the challenge Beth!
Great challenge.......I haven't used this technique in a long, long time.
Thanks Beth.

I haven't stamped in over a week, so I wanted to do today's challenge and I'm super excited that it's crayon resist! I don't do it very often but it's so fun. Off to run some errands and then come home and STAMP!!! Thanks Beth!!
I am on vacation this and will be back home later this week ... yes, still have to check out SCS. Here's one I did awhile back. I stamped and colored a full sheet and then cut it to make several cards ... that's why the design turned out so wierd. Will have to do a one when I get home. I'm off to see about finding a white crayon in the gallon ice cream bucket that is called the crayon bucket in my house...lucky for me...the bucket is full...hopefully I can find white...
I was wondering...do I have to use glossy white CS??? Because I don't have any...oh well...I am going to try using regular WW CS...hope it works...guess I could use photo paper...hm.....
I took the challenge today and gave it a whirl. Here's my very first attempt at this technique. Thanks, Beth. I really needed a poke to get me to do this!
I love this technique. I also must apologize for not posting enough comments - new pup here taking up a lot of time - squeezed this in between naps for the pup - she's sick and taking a lot of time. I don't even have time to check out all the wonderful cards that I know ya'll are making, but I will try later tonight when DH is home and takes his shift! Midnight Rose
Thanks for looking!

Here's my Watermelon Ladybugs. (if you don't see a supply list, it's because I hit "enter" instead of "tab" when I was entering them, so I had to go back and add them, but they're not showing up yet) Sorry!
Crayon resist is always a fun, easy technique to pull off! My scraps from yesterday's scrapbook page were still on my work table, so I decided to put them to use for today's challenge: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
HELP!! Every time I have tried this technique, the white crayon smears the black?? I have even used Black Stazon!!
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG??
Let your card dry after you've stamped it - even heat set it to make sure it's dry. The other option is use the white crayon as far away from the black ink as possible - I used the crayon to create "shine" on some apples.
