Well, I finally tackled this one. For some reason, it really intimated me. Had a hard time figuring out the technique by reading about it - had to actually do it. And, I loved it!!
Had company today so I didn't get to look at the challenge until now. Gonna go get stamping! Thanks Beth....Need to try this for sure!

Not that I intended on doing another one-layer card, but this technique really can be used to show new stampers how easy you can make a card with just one layer!
(yet still upsell crafter's tool kit, watercolored crayons and more!)
This is the other idea I've had running around in my head all day (I got NO work done at the office!) Anyway, it's simple but I love the way it turned out, and I got to use every circle punch I own!!

Not sure I did this right but was fun trying. Do need to do this again and use lighter colors as it came out to dark IRL. Also need to order another stamp set or two for male cards but think I'll wait until new catty comes out. TFL
Here's my card for the challenge:
Obviously I was off work today. This is the first time ever that I made 2 cards for a challenge, on the day of the challenge! And I went shopping at our NEW Hobby Lobby! What a great day! Here are my cards:
Here is another I just finished for this challenge. I hadn't used Island Blossoms in ages but the big blossoms work great for this technique. Thanks for looking and for sharing! Reverse masked Blossoms by stampkat at Splitcoaststampers

Ooh this was fun but I discovered I have my large frame stamp missing, ugh! Time to tear the craft room (aka crap room) apart to find it so I can make the other card I set out to do.
