Criss Cross is so cool! Thanks for the GREAT tutorial, Michelle Wooderson! I appreciate your effort getting this out to us and making us stretch, Beth! Here is my card:
I LOVE this challenge and will have to try another pocket card like this soon. I would have posted mine sooner but gave up trying to get the colors right on my photo this morning and came back to it after supper. This one is pretty close though I think the Cool Caribbean layer looks a little light.
Wow...this was fun...and quick too. Not many of my cards come together in less than an hour, but this did. I was happy to be able to use mostly scraps on this project. (I have WAY too many of those) Here is mine open Here is mine closed
Thanks Beth for another fun challenge!
Finished mine...but have been having major internet problems...ugh!!!! But it seems to be up again so I am going to hurry up and try to see all I missed. (Also had my sister in town on weekend so I missed those challenges:( )
But this was so much fun to do...thanks!!! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
This is my first ever Criss Cross card - I love the technique. I just had to use the SU Designer Paper that came today and I really like the simplicity of the card and how FAST it was to make! I might have to try a few more!

Ok. Here's my second attempt. No, I didn't link here to my first attempt. It was too embarrassing!!! The stalkers made me upload it but it's not worthy of being linked! This one is a little better. Thanks for the cool challenge! Wish I had more patterned paper to play with. I started with the big blossom and then realized I didn't have any pp to match!
Woops....It's really late and it's been a really long day and I accidentally uploaded my card into the wrong gallery (Too Terrific Tags...Tags & More...it's all kinda just running together in a big taggy mess...) So I'll link my card, but there's no guarantee that it'll be where I put it when I wake up tomorrow! Oh well...I loved the challenge! What a fun design!
One hand, two hands, give a little clap.
One hand, two hands, put 'em in your lap.
Criss-Cross, applesauce, quiet as can be.
Criss-cross, applesuace, eyes on me!
Oh my...I tried to upload last night and the site plus the Internet were soooo sluggish! I couldn't even upload! But here I am now and here's my card...this really was easy once I understood what I was doing...thanks Beth for the pictures! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Not sure what I did but the reverse side (which happens to be the very plain side) was the only image of my card showing in the gallary. This is a shot of the side that really matters. This card is sized to fit the small open end envelopes.
Here is my 2nd Criss Cross along with the Color Challenge for today...hard to capture the true colors, but you get the idea....was also supposed to lean toward Chinese decor! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I have to try this technique. All the cards are so pretty.
So am I rght by saying if you follow Michelle's directs, you get one card and if you follow the simple directions, you get two cards?

This was fun to try. This was my first time trying the technique challenge. I think it is nice to make cards that are diffrent, not the same old every time?
