What a great technique!! I will head out soon to see about getting some stamps that I can use for this technique. (everything is in storage right now).
I am new to this site and want to catch up learning new techniques. I loved this one, the idea of kissing has struck my fancy! I keep playing with it! I have this one and then one I like to call kiss off, LOL. I still have to upload that one. I used the canvas background stamp and inked it then stamped it off before putting the other stamp on it in a different color, then Iused the canvas to stamp. I will get that uploaded tomorrow. I am off to stamp today. Hope you like this.
I'm new to this. I did a card using the kissing technique. But, can't figure out how to upload it to this forum. I have uploaded it to my gallery, but when I searched through technique forums, I couldn't find one entitled kissing technique. Can anyone help me?
One of the first (pre-demo) workshops I attended used the kissing technique, but I had pretty much forgotten about it until I started reading this forum. Here is today's attempt:
OK Ok It's a week late but I barely have time to make the cards never mind sit down to upload them LOL! So I'm playing hookie from my work out today as I'm still battling a head/sinus cold. Anyway here is the link to my kissing card it is heavily inspired by / cased from LindaKeal
The very first Technique Lover's Challenge is to use the Kissing Technique!
The kissing technique is very easy and fun to do. Here's how. Ink up a background stamp, such as Filigree, Canvas, Soft Swirls, etc, with a dark color and leave it face up on your worktable. Ink up a solid stamp with a lighter color and then press it onto the inked background stamp (this is the "kiss"). Then stamp onto your cardstock.
Please post your creations with the keyword "TLC01" in the title so that we can find them later when searching. Please also post a reply here with a link......I can't wait to see some kissed cards!
If anyone has any suggestions or comments about the kissing technique, please share them too. Thanks for playing along!

Love this kissing technique. Can't wait to try it. Very COOL.
Took me a while but I got it. I hope it's a good one. Also, next to my name comes up embossing something or another, how do I get rid of it. I have no clue how to emboss.

That is your title for now. It will change when you do more posting.
My new challenge to myself is to go back and combine old technique lovers challenges with older sketch challenges. Last night, I gave the kissing technique a try. I used SC19.
Thanks for the challenge! I it realy hard to just go with one colour! But i needed a card for my bil - so this is it!! The inspiration was from KWerner's blog (http://kwernerdesign.com/blog/) and her MACM. Thanks for looking
