MMTPT93 ~ FELICIA BATISHA! SHE THINKS SHE SMELLS FREESIA!
WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY AND CHALLENGE #93
FELICIA BATISHA!
SHE THINKS SHE SMELLS FREESIA!
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun!
First of all, let me tell you all that I got a message from Roseanne (Sumtoy). This in her own words:
I am doing pretty well. Home now, but not too mobile. Lots of cards..please tell everyone thanks a bunch. Love Roseanne....
So thank you all for the Softer Side of Teapot Tuesday! Roseanne and Cambria definately felt the love from their SCS friends!
This is my story!
1. I have been wanting to have a teaparty in the Bat Cave! ZAP! POW! ZOWEE! Can you believe I could not find a Batman Teapot on line? I had to settle for this sort of ominous dark and mysterious black teapot! I thought the texture of it looked like the walls of the Bat Cave and it looked cold and damp to me! I know, I know, my imagination gets the best of me! I thought it would be fun to meet Batman in person. The only thing is, I have not quite decided what Batman I want to meet Christian Bale, Michael Keeton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney or Adam West.... Hmmmm!!! I am leaning towards Christian Bale, but it will be interesting to see who is there when we arrive!
My card doesn't look like the teapot this time! Two reasons, why! Cuz I am sitting in a room full of black and white polka dots and I wanted to bring a bat to impress Batman! Woot!
2. The timing was just right too cuz it seems that Batman has a dilema and needs our help! Batman loves his Aunt Felisha Batisha who is 42,000 years old. He has taken her in to take care of her in her old age. She hates bats, hates black and can't stand the dampness and smell of the bat cave but because she is so old its not really an issue because she can't see or smell so well! Now, here is where the dilema comes in! Her sister, Aunt BeBatrice is coming to visit, to check up on Batman and Robin (the boys) and to make sure her sister is in good hands! Batman and Robin thought they had their hands full with Cat Woman, The Joker and The Penquin! Ha! The likes of those villans seem more like The Pillsbury Dough Boy compared to Aunt BeBatrice!
3. Here's our job, Rob! Rob is Batman's new butler cuz Alfred retired! We are bringing exotic flowers, beautiful birds and anything that smells good to gussi up the Bat Cave so Aunt BeBatrice doesn't know the real story! And we have some very specific instructions! Don't get too entralled with Batboy Robin, because the aunts are very, very, very protective of him! Zap! Pow! Zowie!
4. If you just can't help it (like me) and you have an itty bitty crush on Batman, then bring a bat to the teaparty to impress him! If you do, you just have to come in the back door. And for you extra rowdy types, just for fun bring a new fight word! Or at least mention one in your commentary! Yikes!
OMG! I just realized I forgot to ask for help with sample cards! Duh!!!
Be sure to you use KEYWORD MMTPT93 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Ever want to get a jump on next week's challenge card? I am posting a sneak peak (tea peek) on my blog each week showing you a glimpse of the following week's teapot as well as a hint of the story! It's at the end of the Teapot Tuesday Post each week. I usually post it a couple days after the Tuesday Challenge is posted. So, be sneaky and get a jump on the other tea-potters! Snort!
If you are confused about these challenge, see the first sticky post of this thread for more information. There is also a directory of individual challenges
Happy Birthday You Guys!!! So sorry you all are getting older! I know, it's the pits but hey, make the best of it and eat cake! Woot! Hope you all have a very Happy Birthday!
well.....cutie.....there has been one thing on my mind lately....and it does involve something that smells deeeelish to me....so I am on a mission to make it a part of my card......might even have some while I make the paper version.
I am unusually early to the party - that's because my butterflies are gussying up the bat cave with Cherry Blossoms before the tea partiers and Aunt BeBatrice get there! Here's my card.

What a cool teapot, Cindy. Batman is not my area of expertise, so I am glad we are allowed flowers and birds. I can't remember the last time I had a Tuesday off, so it will have to be when I get home from work.
There was a feature on Chinese black-market rip-offs in a paper last week, and in work we were all having a good laugh at them. Their version of Batman had lost the BatMobile and was using a grey version of something along the lines of My Little Pony, causing much hilarity amongst the guys.
BAM!! POW!! I love it...lol....but if Adam West isn't there when I get there, the deal is off.....them other boys just don't cut it....Oh my, I had the biggest crush on him when I was a wee bit younger......can't play until later but will be thinking of a plan to appease Aunt BeBatrice...
Okay, for me it ADAM WEST! Here's mine MMTPT93 Batty Halloween by yo sam at Splitcoaststampers and since I do love the old Batman television show, I had to have bats on mine. See you next week, same bat channel, same bat time!
Happy tea partying everyone and happy birthday to Anne, Cat, katlady2 and CarrollAnne!

Well thanks Cindy! I think it would be so cool to visit the BatCave! And I hope all the villians show up!! I brought boring flowers BUT in this land of make believe my flowers may squirt a deadly gas that will just hurt the bad guys. Here it is.
Holy hothouse flowers Batman! We have to make that bat cave pass Aunt BeBatrice's inspection so that Aunt Felisha Batisha who is 42,000 years old can stay. Nothing smells like late spring/early summer and beauty then lovely roses so I brought my first attempt at making a paper rose to the party The scent of roses in the air by Gale R at Splitcoaststampers . I also used the CB folder with the birds on it for some lovely bird sounds and then the MS butterfly punch/stamp combo to add to the pretty sights for Aunt Bebatrice to see. I threw in a little glittery bling too hoping the gems will bring a little more light to that dark cave.
TFL
I'm finally here....had this card in my head but wasn't working on paper until I saw the IC site this week...finally came together...so here's the secret bat cave entrance:
Cindy, the Bat Cave has been so much fun! I brought more flowers, but I'm going to have to leave the party a little early this week. This girl is ready for some sunshine. Next time we visit Batman, I'll bring some UV lights!

I'm late as usual! I've been getting ready for the new Riley release, but I had to take a break & make a card for this fun challenge! I love these Teapot Tuesday challenges, Cindy your stories are always so clever!
Hi. I know it is unforgiveable to show up to a tea party late! Being a week late? !!Pow!! Bam!! "SQUISH" !! Well, I have a good reason:
Since this is my first tea party visit, I thought I should do everything I could to help make this "Family of BatMan" get together-- go the best it possibly could.
Well, with Beloved Aunt Felisha Batista being 42,000 years old she was excited to know company was coming, and at least she still had half of her own teeth.
But, Batman would be doomed if Aunt BeBatrice arrived and saw a bat, smelled a bat, or a cave that smelled damp and was quite dim and needed a lamp! So, this is why I am late--I made 42,000 plus 2 of these:
of these--beautiful heart-shaped, rose corsages! (Really made of water color pencils, a doily from my Mom, 3 heart shaped charms, Yellow SU! paper, and some of my best faux stitching with my best faux thread.)
It seems Batman had 42,000 bats, so I had been there, but I was busy tying a heart-shaped rose corsage onto each bat...like a cape...and two corsages left over for Batman to hand to both Aunts at the same moment. They had a special note on their corsage. It reminded them of something they learned long ago, "He has made everything beautiful in its time." -Ecc 3:11
Now, I am here for my 2nd visit and will be joinging up with you ladies shortly.
Hi Traci! You found us! What a place to start in the bat cave! Snort! So glad you came.......and I got a kick outa your story! Giggle!! Something tells me you are gonna fit right in! Yikes!!!
