Teapot Tuesday Challenge MMTPT816 Care for Christine
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something about the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: casep/Pat
CHALLENGE:
This week Jennifrann has nominated one of her best friends at work. Christine was diagnosed with Stage 2 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma just before Christmas. She started chemo in early January which will continue through April. Her prognosis is good and she has good support from her family and friends, but even with that, chemo takes a toll. She's been very tired and is already losing weight and hair, but she is keeping a very positive attitude through it all. Jen added that she's worked at MetLife/Farmers with Christine for 22 years, so Snoopy would definitely be welcome on the cards. Christine is single, but loves spending time with her nephews and volunteers leading a Girl Scout troop. Religious cards are also welcome. Your challenge is to use materials that spell the word CARE. For example, cardstock, adhesive, red, and embossing. When you upload your card to your gallery, tell us how you spelled CARE.
CARD TYPE/THEME: religious, thinking of you, get well.

Be sure to you use KEYWORD MMTPT816 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to Jennifrann via PM or e-mail [email protected]. Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject lineAttached Thumbnails

Here is my card - the inside sentiment I wrote: " Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but learning to dance in the rain" I'd like to find a single stamp with that sentiment - For now, since I didn't have any printed from my computer, I just handwrote it.
Here is my get well card for Christine.
Christine and I are from Rhode Island. I use to live in Johnston while we built our house in 1972. Small world. I put a lovely get well sentiment from the Hallmark program I own. MMTPT816 A card for Christine by Icela52 at Splitcoaststampers
