Teapot Tuesday Challenge MMTPT815 A Wee Bit of Irish
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess: Shoe Girl / Lisa
This week's Tea Party was requested by Ann (annsforte3). Ann is requesting a tea party for her oldest brother, Michael aka Mike. Mike has been a bit down due to chemo treatment not working and causing some extra problems for him. The doctors have decided surgery is the best option for him due to his aggressive form of cancer. It is going to be a very hard road to recovery for him and he could use some teapotters cheer.
Mike is into genealogy, history, loves to sing and is very proud of his Irish heritage. The love of his life Linda is standing by his side through all of his health issues and is patiently waiting for him so they can get married.
CHALLENGE: Create a very special card with a Wee Bit of Irish.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Hello, Thinking of You, Hugs (Note, Mike is not religious, and we ask that you please not send religious cards.)
SEND CARDS TO:

Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to Jennifrann via PM or e-mail [email protected]. Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.
Many thanks to all of you for sending Mike cards. He sure needs cheering up as he had major surgery removing his bladder and prostate. It's a long road to recovery and it has been difficult for him coming to terms with how life has changed for him. Big hugs to all of you!
Sorry to be late on commenting and uploading my card, it's son #5's birthday today!
LOL - again, I must have used an incorrect MMTPT #.. my card appears in my gallery but not this gallery.. (It's a repeat of another card using this die from Cricut Cartridge Paper Doll Dress Up..) I think now that I cannot download my cards with my computer but have to use my cell, I have a LOT of trouble typing the messages on such a tiny 'keyboard'.. oh the joys of the Golden Years..
Late, late, to the party, but I wanted to send a card to Mike because Ann is such a "force" here on Splitcoast, and I wanted to send her brother some cheer with my Lucky Leprachaun

My brother lets me know everyday how many cards he has received and the states they have come from! He stated he never gets any mail other then bills and junk mail and that the amount of letters coming to him are a surprise to his mailman as it has been for him!
Lisa, Mike said your card arrived first! Polly you were second! LOL!! Thank you so much to everyone for sending him all of these cheerful cards! He is loving them all!
Ann, I hope mine arrives and not come back 2 months later.
I'm glad Mike and Lisa are enjoying our cards it always was my heart to know our cards can brighten someone's day, even if it's only for a moment.
Hugs,

I am pretty late, but got this in the mail! I hand carved the stamp and made 15 postcards like this. One or two extras for fun- mounted this on green cardstock and sent off to Michael! MMTPT815, ABC20I9 Lucky by mcschmidty at Splitcoaststampers
A message from my brother, "please tell your members thank you so much for their kind thoughts and beautiful cards, it sure has brightened my days". Mike has received 35 cards to date!
He is dealing with all of the issues of after surgery, some days he is really down others a bit better. I was told his surgery was a very hard one for men to handle. I think for anyone it would be.
I have to tell all of my fellow teapotters that you bring so much joy to the recipients!! And as the person requesting a tea party, I am on the end of that joy as well.
Each day my brother was calling or texting, "I got another one today, or I got three today"! He has a wee bit of Ireland in his front room!! To hear excitement in his voice rather then pain brings me to tears!
Thank you again to all of you for your kindness and thoughtfulness to send my brother a card! It is deeply appreciated.
