Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!

It's odd (and frustrating) that not just one but two came back. I will say, though, that over the years I have had several returned like that and sometimes it actually WAS the correct address.
I've had mail returned as well that was addressed correctly. It's always a mystery when that happens but I suspect it has something to do with the electronic reading by the equipment. I usually resend it in a new envelope. But it is frustrating.
I went to the post office today and asked why my card was returned. They looked up the zip code 45458 and it came up for Dayton , OH. Nothing showed up for Washington township.
so if the oH post office looks everything up by zipe code alone then there are different I may get the card back again.
Washington Township has many zipe codes maybe the zip code is a problem.
I've had the USPS ZIP code checker give me a different ZIP to what we have been given in the challenge thread, and then the recipient confirms that they've been using the original one for years without knowing it had been changed and presumably they are getting all their mail. Here the code is very specific - my one is for my address only and unique to this house.
Like Debbie, if I get confirmation the address is correct I put the card in a new envelope and it's always arrived second time round, so I hope that holds true for you.
