You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: peeps321/Polly
Today’s Teaparty was requested by Brenda-Benzi. Her friend Pam (Craftea19 on SCS) lost her son Scott earlier this year to cancer. Of course she’s heartbroken. Brenda thought a Teaparty might bring a bit of joy to Pam. She actually suggested that to her and Pam said she would love to receive cards from fellow cardmakers as long as they weren’t sympathy cards. She’s got a bunch of those.
A couple of interesting facts about Pam:
She introduced Brenda to SCS . Brenda’s sister was shopping at Hobby Lobby in the craft department (of course) and Pam introduced herself. They got to talking and Pam mentioned Splitcoast . Brenda’s sister passed on the information to her and the rest is history!
Challenge: Let’s flood Pam’s mailbox with some beautiful eye candy and inspiration. Share your joy of cardmaking by using your favorite technique or style that will show off the best of Splitcoast.

Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to Jennifrann via PM or e-mail [email protected].
I actually just sent out the card I made for Pam's FS Challenge, or I would have sent it to Pam! Great challenge, Polly. I hope our crafty hugs bring Pam joy.
Thanks for hosting Polly. I discovered I don't have one favorite technique, but I do love Mo's stamps and I do love flowers and I do love butterflies and I do love layers so I added a lot of my favs into this.
Thank you, girls. This will be a bright spot in Pam"s life.

I'm not usually one to get a tea pot card made, but wanted to make the effort for a fellow SCSer. I hope she finds joy in all the cards coming her way this week. Sending Spring to Pam by lamoore at Splitcoaststampers

Late, late again! Here is my Hello card for Pam. Not sure how inspirational it is, but at least the colors are cheerful!

I selected this card and mailed it today to Pam. It was originally made a few weeks ago for the Use Your Stash challenge group here at SCS. Since I used items in my stash that I love and really enjoyed creating it, I'm hope she will love seeing the happy mail in her mailbox.
Here's my card for Pam, however, I can't remember the name of the technique that I used to create the fold...I just measured an old card that I had to recreate this card. I'm attaching thumbnails of the inside.

Pam posted this in the current week's Teaparty....thought I would pass it along to those who made cards for her.
Dear friends I have spent the last several days receiving your beautiful cards. You all blessed my heart. Your notes and beautiful cards meant so much. What kind big hearted people are are. May God bless you all.
