Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: casep/Pat
CHALLENGE:
This week we are making cards for someone who has had several surgeries, so I thought it would be fun to use stitching on our cards. If you can't think of a way to use actual stitching, you could use twine or thread, or use a stitched die or stitching stamp.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Hello; Thinking of You; Cheerful; Hugs
A friend of Jen's reached out to her with a Tea Party request for her parents' friend, Sharon. She says Sharon just keeps getting hit with injury and surgery after injury and surgery and could really use some Teapotter cheer as she recovers from yet another surgery. Sharon loves swans, white fluffy dogs, Siamese cats, any kind of cute critters, animal print, music, flowers, summer, angels, and of course Dunkin' Donuts coffee.

Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to Jennifrann via PM or e-mail [email protected]. Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.

I happened to make an extra die cut of the nurse from last week's challenge, and was able to create a card using my Spellbinders stitched die cut. The nurse fit perfectly inside one of the dies...
God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ... being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8 & 9
I'm working on my "Challenge Catch-Up" goal! I used a stitched rectangle die for the bottom sentiment underlay. It is difficult to see on the Early Espresso cardstock.
