Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: snietje/Anita

I wanted to let you know I stop hosting the MMTPT so today it's my last one, I'll continue to play so you won't miss me
Thank you all my dear TEAPOTTER Friends and Team, I had a great time on the team
Today it's also the 700th TEA Party and we're going to celebrate this with the neighborhood, so my challenge is, make a card or cards for your neighbor(s), cross the street and drop them in their letterbox
Extra cookies if you use a fun fold because I love fun folds
CARD TYPE/THEME: Christmas Cards
This week's Guest of Honor are: The Neighbors, we all have neighbors, far or close from our house, so you make a Christmas card and cross the street and drop it in their letterbox

Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to jacqueline via PM or e-mail [email protected]. Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.
I'm at my son's house for a couple of day so I have to wait to play. I already made my neighbors cards, so when I get home I will make next year's card, but they don't live across the street, no homes across the street!!

Oh Anita - this is a perfect challenge - Not only could I recycle a piece that's been floating on my desk for serveral years, but it will get me back down to see the lady who recently moved in 4 doors down.
Anita,
Thanks for all the effort you've put into hosting the Tea Parties. So glad you're not leaving us completely and that we'll still see your lovely cards in the gallery.
CC8756, MMTPT700 Blessed Christmas
Barbara these were cool colors!!
Anita, I am not one of those who can do fancy folds, but I am going to give this to my neighbor who I got to visit for the first time last night!! (Perfect timing!)

Thanks Anita for hosting this week and for all the hosting you have done here at SCS. I'm glad we will still see your beautiful cards in the Gallery. Here's my card for this week's challenge. I managed the ribbon, but not the fancy fold. My card
Just took my first batch of Caramel Corn (5 quarts) out of the oven. Once it's cooled, I'll pack it in a fancy tin and take it down to Norma with the card I made her today.
5 more batches to go tomorrow . . . . .

For a friend, Jeannie, who lives in my neighborhood! She has me reading books this year! Hubby reads them after I do as well! Some are better than others!
Anita, thanks for all you've done to bring interesting and fun challenges to our teapotter world. Your challenges will be missed. Glad we will still see your creativity in the gallery.

looks fantastic ! I love popcorn... my mom used to make this all the time, but I haven't made it since my son was a cub scout and he's 41. Maybe I'll give it another shot after Christmas and things aren't so hectic..
That looks yummy!! maybe not good for my teeth...
Nice to bring a thin with your pretty card to Norma

This cardinal Christmas card was inspired by what I see daily out my craft room window. Bright red cardinals visit our bird feeders (one which I have very close to my window) and I enjoy seeing them up close. This weeks Teapot Challenge had perfect timing. Our neighbors across the street are the friendliest neighbors we have, so I made this card for them including an inside message thanking them for being such a blessing to us.
