Teapot Tuesday challenge MMTPT693 Something Old, Something New
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge -- the more, the merrier! You automatically become a "TEApotter" the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something about the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary-- it's not a requirement, but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: casep/Pat
CHALLENGE: This week, my challenge is to make a card using something old - stamp set, die, paper. embellishment - and something new. Maybe you have some gelli plate backgrounds you made a few months ago, or an image or die cut that someone sent you. Maybe you have a new paper or stamp set you want to try out. Now is your chance!
CARD TYPE/THEME: Thanks, Gratitude, Thinking of you
DESTINATION:
Our destination this week is Teapotter's Choice. Send your card to a someone you wish to thank or to whom you are grateful. Be sure to tell them just how much they mean to you.
Be sure to you use KEYWORD MMTPT693 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to jacqueline via PM or e-mail[email protected].Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.Attached Thumbnails

Great challenge Pat, and very timely since I really wanted to make and send a thank you card to a dear friend. The sentiment is from 2006, as is the Yo Yo Yellow marker (which is still holding up great). The embossing folder is brand new.
God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ... being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8 & 9
LOL, am sending as got a FRIEND card from redi2stamp--aka Mary. She sent the cutest mouse---card due to the fact of what I told her. I was sitting up here on the computer and felt movement on my right arm and knew it was not the dog as she was across the hall, I looked --yelled eek as was a real mouse---shook my arm jumped to my tummy then to the floor behind the computer stand and that is when dog saw she is under stand trying to get to it---LOL---I ran to basement got two traps and set them but he is afraid of them as not seen him up here since--is funny now but was startling then--thanks Mary this kind of mouse is not bad
There are lots of things going on with how my card came to be. First, my card idea started with the Sketch Challenge SC918. Inspiration was also taken from other SCS challenges, plus I'm working on my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking goal as well.
This challenge required OLD & NEW was easy to add! Old: M-Stewart Butterfly Trio punch (over 15 yrs. old); Boho Indigo kit (over 2 yrs. old and not yet used). NEW: Paper Pizzaz Vellum Dots. I'm late to the party, so I made this card for my Mom's birthday coming up next week!
