Teapot Tuesday Challenge MMTPT674 Give it a French Touch
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: snietje/Anita
CHALLENGE:
This week I would like to give this challenge a French touch, think about what you know about France, it can be our flag, blue white red, or French wine, cheese, The Eiffel Tower, and lots of other monuments, maybe a French painter, or a French singer/song, one of my favorite songs is the song you'll hear and see in the video, I've found a video with the English translation, extra cookies if you get inspiration from this song/video, La Tendresse by Bourvil The video will be posted in the next post.

My card for Larry. I had both my hips replaced (4 months apart) in 2019 and I know what he’s going through! The good news is, once past recovery it’s smooth sailing. (In fact, for myself, I hardly even think about it anymore!). Just have to be patient and keep up with the pt!
Enjoying some golf in Paris. Here's my card for Larry.
Anita, enjoyed watching the video. What a wonderful sentiment. We should all remember to be more tender with others and even ourselves. Thanks for sharing the song and especially for finding the video with English subtitles.

Oh, Anita, and Ann, how fun that you are having a tea party for Larry! So sweet of you dear Ann to request it. Anita, you don’t know , but this is a great theme. He took me to Paris for our 25th, and we tried to go for our 50th, but it didn’t happen. Anyway, we sometimes say, “we’ll always have Paris.” So, he will love this. Thank you Anita, for your card! Yes, he already got it, and it is so sweet!
Hi Anita, I did send Larry (and Sharon) a card after his fall but will see if I have another one in my stash to send or will make one. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

I'm glad he likes the card and I knew you went to Paris but didn't know it was for your 25th anniversary, I hope he feels better now.
Here is my card for Larry. Wishing him all the best. Happy weekend everyone.

Because I really wanted to do this sunshine card, I need a French reason for its existence...LOL! So, I searched for a French song that inspired a sun-themed card. I found a beautiful song that really enchanted me entitled, The French Song...When the Sun Says Good-day to the Mountains sung by Lucille Starr. Voilà, a sun is needed!
Thank you, everyone! Larry is loving his cards and notes! Lovely personal message in them.
I always struggle with what I write in the teapot cards. After reading his cards, I will try to do better! He got half a dozen in today’s mail. How wonderful you all are!
