WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY CHALLENGE MMTPT522 "Use Only 3!!"
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a TEApotter the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot or from the challenge theme itself? Remember, your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not a requirement. Just have fun!!
CHALLENGE:
It's Summer, so we've got less energy, even to craft!! So, I thought it would be fun to close your eyes and grab only 3 items to make a card, you could ask your husband your neighbor your friend or one of your children to take 3 things from your craft room to create a card.
Example: paint, 1 stamp and 1 die, of course you can add paper and your crafting tools!! Because it's hot you can even add WATER!! If you want to send your card to Sue think about including, hydrangeas, peonies, or use pink or purple, a dog...see below on the destination station.
On my card I used 2 stamps, paint, water and wax crayons, water is not counted because it's hot, stamps if you use an image and a sentiment you can count it as 1, and I added as third a bit of shaker stuff.
DESTINATION STATION: Sadly, Sue (a.k.a. coffeestamper), one of our long time SCS members, had lost her youngest sister Bonnie, last month. Sue is heartbroken and can certainly use some cards and words of comfort. Bonnie loved dogs, pink & purple, hydrangeas, peonies, was a fan of the NY Yankees. Bonnie also loved shopping and Sue loved celebrating, their birthdays together. Thanks to SCS Benzi (Brenda) for bringing this to our attention. Let's shower Sue with comfort and love.
SEND YOUR CARD TO: Sue Titolo
5108 Madison Street
Schenectady, NY 12306
USA
Be sure to use KEYWORD MMTPT522 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Post your request HERE or send a PM to jacqueline.

Here's mine, I just had to use a coffee stamp.
My three things were the stamps, Inktense pencils (so I added lots of water ) and Glossy Accents. Fun challenge, Anita - thank you. I did pick the items I used - I wanted to end up with a card that was worth sending!! If I'd sent DH up, who knows what he'd have picked for me - I might not have been able to make anything with it.

Thanks to everyone who commented, but I didn€™t use any special technique, this is just a very simple stamped card. The hydrangea is printed on foil, and the vertical greeting was already vertical, I just stamped it. But thanks, I am actually going to mail this so I am glad that people do like it!
I am really bad at following directions sometimes, I think! I got caught up in two other challenges, and made this card for Sue (coffeestamper). Even tho it fails to meet the Teapot challenge criteria, I think she'll like it anyway (I hope!)

Oh, I am so very sorry to hear about Sue's losing her beloved sister! I can't even imagine that. I know she dearly loves hydrangeas and will send a card to her for sure. It's one I have made several of (and one she really loved). Am praying for her during this really difficult time. I know she was so very happy to be back making cards again.
I want to thank Brenda for requesting cards for me with the loss of my baby sister Bonnie she was only 40 years old. I am still in a state of shock and still cant believe she is no longer here with us. Thank you to all of you for taking time to send me a card in the loss of my baby sister Bonnie I started receiving them already and each one of them brought a smile to my face and thank you all for the beautiful words and encouraging messages inside. sending hugs to all of you...

I just took time on mmtpt to leave comments on all the cards I have received thus far. If I didn't leave a comment on your card yet that means I didn't receive it yet. I want to leave a more personal comment about the words you wrote or the card you chose to send. I wanted you all to know that I am glad to be apart of sc and mmtpt and to my extended family I have had the pleasure to have "met" through sc. Sending hugs to each and everyone of you. I feel blessed knowing each and everyone of you.

I'm late but only in posting...I got a new phone a couple of weeks ago and have been having issues getting the pictures the right size to post. Finally figured it out so here's my puppy card to honor Sue's sister, Bonnie.
