Jan (Precious Kitty) is our guest hostess for the Tickle challenge this month. And here is her fun challenge!
The Problem in Red Ruby Town
Every year in July, the town residents of Red Ruby celebrate; Red Day. The founding fathers celebrated anything that was red in uphold the towns name and tradition. In July, so many things were red. Things like the fireworks displayed on the 4th of July. Their famous red rose garden. Even the month of Julys birthstone is of course a red ruby! What a coincidence!! All the residents within the town of Red Ruby celebrated this occasion. The woodworkers brought things made of cherry and mahogany; the auto industry showcased their flashy red cars. There were red banners everywhere. Everyone in Red Ruby, showed off their things made in red. It was the talk of the town for months! This year the celebration will be held starting on the 23rd through the 26th. Naturally in the town of Red Ruby, there were a group of wonderful women who showcased their tea pots that featured red on them. All year they would work on these tea pots. It was one of the biggest displays! Then suddenly! It was a dark day when disaster struck in Red Ruby! Oh my! The store room that held all the tea pots with red on them has been destroyed during a RED fire. All is lost!!! How on earth will these wonderful women come up with 20 thousand tea pots in just a short time? They need our help! Everyone in town of Red Ruby are enlisting everyone near and far to bring a tea pot that has something red on it to celebrate Red Rubys town holiday! These tea pots can show off red flowers; stripes, polka dots, and flourishes. They could be in different shapes as the apple or strawberry. As long as there is red on the pot, we will take it! And the people of Red Ruby town thank you from the bottom of their hearts!
CHALLENGE TRANSLATION:Feature a teapot on your card - but the teapot must have something red on it. These tea pots can show off red flowers; stripes, polka dots, and flourishes. They could be in different shapes as the apple or strawberry. As long as there is red on the pot, we will take it! Be inspired by the attached collection of RED teapots

Whew, made it. The air conditioning went out in our house yesterday, and the craft room is the warmest space in the house, so I had to wait until the repairmen left before I could join the fun.
My card features a beautiful doily that Anita (snietje) sent me in the last Tickle A Teapotter swap.
I made two Red Ruby Town Teapots. Ladybug and Flowers 3D. It was fun to dig out my pattern piece.
I have enjoyed playing along. School begins next month, and I need to get busy. Thanks for having me. I'll try to pop in when time permits. I feel the withdrawals already....
