Down on the Farm
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! The Rest of the Story:
1: Caroline's dream of being a published author was about to come true and she is so excited she can't think of anything else. The dishes have piled up, the laundry hasn't been done and the dust bunnies are having a reunion under the couch. But "housework will wait" has become her new motto. Everything has become 2nd fiddle to her finally realizing her dream, her life's purpose, and the fun she will have seeing her books on the shelves.

Let's Go On a Field Trip
Yippee!! The big day has arrived. All the children are excited.
Today they will see Farmer Bob and his farm. After they are lined
up at the bus stop, the big yellow school bus stops to let them on.
And then they are off to the country.
At the farm, Miss Francis leads them off the bus and tells them
one more time to listen to their group leader. Then Farmer Bob
comes down the lane to greet them. He is glad to have them out
to see the cows and chickens and he has a surprise for them too.
He leads them down to the barn and stops at the milking station
where they can see the mama cow being milked. He tells them to
watch that big yellow cat. She tries to steal some of the fresh milk
for herself. This makes the children giggle. Chickens are running around
all over the barn yard. And in the barn as well, the children
laugh in delight when they brush past their legs.
Then Farmer Bob leads them out the back of the barn and to the pig
pens. He tells them that this is where their surprise is. Mama pig had
12 babies just a few days ago. They are just about the size of a large
cat. But they eat so much they will soon be big pigs too. The children
have a great time watching the piglets scramble all over mama pig.
Then it's time to go back to school and they wave good-bye to Farmer
Bob. He waves back and tells them to "Come back soon Y'all".
3: As Caroline is showing her book to her cousin for one last proof reading, they realize a HUGE mistake has been made. There are no illustrations. "Oh NO" she cries. My deadline is next Monday and I forgot to have someone help me illustrate my story. And I'm no artist.
4: Rut Roh: Luckily for Caroline, her cousin just happens to know someone who knows lots of someones (42,000) who know lots of things about art.....
Challenge Translation:
Bring pigs and cows, bring donkeys and ducks. Bring barns and plows, and lots of farmy things. No city stuff or it's the back door for you.
